 Keith Wibel, CFA – President
|
Keith is founder and President of Foothills Asset Management, Ltd. With over twenty years of experience in the investment industry, he is responsible for the overall investment philosophy and policies of the firm and supervises the investment research and management functions. Keith designed and developed the firm’s proprietary research screening model.
Prior to founding Foothills Asset Management, Keith spent seven years as an investment officer and portfolio manager with Northern Trust Bank of Arizona managing over $200 million for individuals, trusts, corporations and charitable organizations.. Earlier in his career, he worked as a stockbroker. Keith’s desire to create and follow his own investment process led to the establishment of the firm.
Remaining active in the community, Keith serves as an advisor to Arizona State University's Investment Management Fund, a portion of the ASU Foundation assets managed by students of the school's graduate finance program. He also is a member of the board and serves on the investment committee of the Northern Arizona University Foundation and is a past president of the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts.
Keith is a Chartered Financial Analyst and earned his BS in finance from Arizona State University.

 Florence Wibel – Chief Financial Officer
|
Combining her considerable business skills with those of her husband, Keith, Florence helped to establish Foothills Asset Management in 1995. Her primary responsibility is the oversight of all financial and accounting operations for the firm.
After earning her undergraduate degree cum laude and herMBA from Arizona State University, Florence began her business career in financial analysis and accounting with such organizations as Motorola Computer Systems, University of Michigan Medical School and Arizona State University.
Florence is an involved classroom volunteer for her and Keith's two children, Sara and David, as well as devoting a great deal of time advising her synagogue’s Board of Directors on financial matters.

 Kris Lumsden, IACCPsm - Chief Compliance Officer
|
Kris has more than sixteen years experience in the investment advisory field focusing primarily on daily operations, regulatory compliance procedures, securities trading, accounting, information technology systems and client service. At Foothills, Kris directs the firm’s compliance program ensuring that it conforms to all applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices and internal policies and procedures.
Prior to beginning her career in the investment advisory business, Kris worked as a senior paralegal in estate planning, taxation, trust administration and probate practices for law firms in El Paso, Texas, Cincinnati, Ohio and Scottsdale, Arizona.
Kris was among the first group of graduates from the National Regulatory Services’ (NRS) compliance certification program earning the designation of Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio earning her BA in paralegal studies.

 John L. Stull, CFA, CPA - Senior Portfolio Manager
|
As a key member of the firm’s portfolio management team, John’s career spans 20 years in the industry with substantial experience in financial analysis, investment management and accounting. John’s responsibilities include working with high net worth clients in developing and overseeing solid investment strategies and securities selection.
John began his career in banking as an auditor after graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Finance. Soon after earning his MBA from Arizona State University, he joined Deloitte & Touche as a tax consultant and earned his Certified Public Accountant designation as well as a Master of Taxation from ASU. In 2000, John earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
In 1997, John joined the investment firm and later became a partner at L. Roy Papp & Associates in Phoenix. He also served as a vice president of the Papp Mutual Funds. Prior to joining Foothills, John worked at Johnson Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona as a vice president in the Wealth Management Division.
John is an active member of the Scottsdale Charros as well as a member of the Board of Governors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, currently serving as Treasurer.

 Enrique Rendon – Information Systems/Operations Specialist
|
With a strong background in investment services in such diverse areas as securities trading, customer service, trust administration and back office operations, Enrique is well qualified to manage the day to day operations for the firm as well as ensuring that all of our technology meets the demands of account administration. His primary responsibilities at Foothills include reconciling daily activity and security transactions in client accounts and serving as the liaison with the independent custodians.
Enrique began his career as a registered representative for Charles Schwab & Co. where he earned his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Prior to joining Foothills, he worked for a Phoenix based trust company as a trust administrator for IRA and Limited Partnership accounts. As a dedicated member of the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves, Enrique developed a strong sense of teamwork and resolve that serves our firm so well.

 Debbie Downing – Compliance and Client Services Associate
|
Debbie joined Foothills Asset Management in 2005, bringing a solid professional background to our firm. Before relocating from Washington to Arizona, Debbie was a partner is building a successful aviation business based in Wenatchee and Alaska that contracted with various state and federal agencies for marine mammal surveys, fire control work for the Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service. In addition, she owned and operated apple and cherry orchards. During that time, Debbie obtained her real estate license and worked part time as a realtor.
After relocating to Arizona, Debbie graduated from the Arizona Paralegal Training Program. Prior to joining Foothills, she was employed as a legal secretary in the Arizona State Attorney General’s office. Given her legal training and work experience, she is uniquely qualified to work with the Foothills compliance department handling various SEC regulatory matters as well as with our clients to ensure a high level of personalized service.
Debbie is a graduate of Washington State University with degree in Business Administration.
